The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Dover Speedway this weekend for the DuraMAX Drydene 400, and it looks like the Hendrick Motorsports team is ready to race for the winners circuit once again.
Hendrik’s Alex Bowman, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott all stunned at the Dover track last year. Bowman won last year’s Drydene 400 iteration, while Larson and Elliott finished second and third, respectively.
Elliott in particular is one of the things to look out for on a Sunday. The 26-year-old exited the Cup series like a cannonball, entering Sunday’s race with the most points in the competition. And while he hasn’t won a race yet this season, Elliott’s performance has been remarkable with consistency. Elliott has not suffered from DNF this year and has seven spots in the top ten.
